SOS Training Camp

Has anyone done or plan on on doing this?

I'm thinking of bringing my wife up. She'd be happy doing her own thing while I do most of the training. I'd likely skip some of the group get togethers.

Thoughts on combining a training and get away weekend at Mohonk?

Good for you . Have fun! Shoudn't you be leaving work soon ;)

I supported someone last year and was amazed at how beautiful that area is. And I only live an hour away!
Showed my wife pictures this morning and she was impressed, hence my OP.

always with the beer tips, nice!

Too bad you're not up this way. Got a nice hilly 70 miler planned tomorrow, Bridge to Bridge (Bear Mtn to Newburgh - past West Point). Doing it with some young skinny guys that are way more into riding than drinking.

I could use you for both ;)

meeting at the trailhead - bottom of Bear MTN - at 8am. Puts us at BMB around 8:15.

You'd enjoy riding with these guys. Unfortunately for me you'd be just another wheel I'd be chasing!

2 weeks before SOS, we put on a tune-up race, Battle of Battenfeld. It's 6 swims, 5 stages, 4 transitions, 3 runs, 2 bikes, 1 helluva race. Good beer, too.

2015 American Zofingen Du is May 17.
