I want to try zwift with the free download but do not have an ANT Dongle. Will zwift work with the Garmin Vector BLE? Or is there another option I am missing?

Yes but how depends on your setup. If you are using an iPad, MacBook or Apple TV it should just work. On a pc you will have you use a second device running the companion app as a bridge.
Sounds complex but most people run it off a tablet or Apple TV so it just works.
