Flyknit ripping? I have like 350 on both of my original zoom flys and still plan on using them. Have like 150 on the 3s and don’t look like any wear at all. The upper seems like it has a much less chance to rip than the flyknit.
On the Zoom Fly 2s, my strike is just under the pinky toes but a little bit behind. Same thing for the Vaporfly 4%. Both of these shoes are worn down to the carbon fiber plate in this area. By tearing apart, I didn't mean the flyknit, but the sole of the shoe. Part of the reason I think is due to the way I strike and also I'm probably heavier than most runners so they wear down. The sole is different on the ZF3 though so hoping for a more economical wear down of the sole. :)
