Does anyone else have trouble with their zippers corroding? This happens to most of my gear that has small metal zippers (e.g. leg closures on tights, jerseys, vests). This isn't a problem with bigger zippers. Is there a good way to prevent this?

Yep. Usually just jerseys, though. If it's just the pull, I can sometimes use heavy fishing line as a substitute. When it's the tab, eventually I end up having the zipper replaced or just tossing the jersey.
