Ok, so I'm wondering if anybody out there is an expert on older Zipp hubs (440 rear wheel). Not sure exactly how old it is, and don't have it in front of me, so no model number either. Not orginal owner, but likely to be the future owner (its currently a Friend's).
Anyway, it seems that the freebody attached to the hub is loose. Ie, when there's a cassette on it you can wiggle it in ways that cassettes aren't supposed to wiggle. When you apply power I think it twists a bit, and slips. Has anybody had experience with this sort of thing? Will I have to replace the hub? If so, where can one do that (in Ontario)? Can you reuse the spokes?
Any input will help...
thanks
