What model is the alum version? I'm not certain I have ever seen an aluminum Zipp braking surface, but a buddy was telling me they made one. Might consider a Zipp if this is true!

I believe it's the 900.
2x that - only the Zipp clincher discs have a alum brake track, all the tubulars are carbon.
