Zipp Wheel Problem
I am looking for some ideas or thoughts if anyone has experience problems with fraying carbon (inside) of the deep dish rims. I have the Zipp 808 model and they are tubular wheels. Every time I glue a new tire on, the extension stem gets caught in the frayed carbon inside the wheel when aligning it through the "holes". It's been a nightmare, but I love the wheels.

Appreciate any thoughts, thx

Are you.sure its carbon and not a chunk of the bladder? If the carbon is delaminating there is nothing you can do about it. I would try to warranty the wheel if that were the case.

Also I'm no wheel expert so bring it into a shop and have them take a look at it.

who's smarter than you're? i'm!
