If they do, they would have paid for it and have agreed to non-disclosure of the results. Why are you trying to steal from the author?

Steal is a little harsh. There is nothing wrong with sharing and/or collaborating. Stealing would be taking without permission. Just looking to see if anyone has the information they are willing to share.

I don't think that's harsh. The author of that report spent his own money to generate the results and as a condition of having access to those results, the purchaser agrees to pay him a small fee and to not disclose the information to other individuals.

So, by asking if someone has the information they are willing to share, you're asking if someone is willing to not only allow you to steal the information without paying the meager fee asked for it, but also to make them an accomplice in the act.

You're trying to get the information without paying for it. How is that "not taking without permission"?

Only a brat from USC would think this way. Pony up the $10 or whatever it is and keep your dignity. How exactly would somebody telling you the information be a collaboration?

Only a whiny, kid from UCLA would bring up the whole SC' thing.

Then never talk about anything you read in a newspaper or book

Not the same situation, toolguy. The newspaper does not require agreement to non-disclosure when you read it.

The proposed action is stealing. I don't care how you justify it or break it down. The information belongs to the BTR enterprise, specifically KW.

What you are asking for IS stealing. As a reminder, threads like this are not permitted. Previous threads along this line have been yanked (such as those asking for BitTorrents of race broadcasts, etc.). Since people seem to be in need of a reminder of the rules of the forum lately, I'm leaving this up as a reminder that we do not allow this sort of thing.
