Zipp contractually enforces MSRP. It's the end of the year, so there's model year closeouts. My guess is that in addition to MSRP enforcement, there's probably also a window - around now - when current stock can be discounted to make room for 2013.
Everything new for 2013 has already been announced. Nothing major except 202 CC & Super9 CC.

As Jordan said, just clearing out the 2012s to make room (physical and monetary) for the 2013 models. Pretty standard around this time.

They try to. :) No one I know with Zipps paid MSRP. Closeout or not.

Zipp reps were at IMFL selling wheels at 20% off. I stopped and talked to them just because I was surprised to see that kind of a discount. I figured it was an event special, but I guess now is just a good time to buy. I bought a set last year at 15% off and was pleased to get that.
