Xterra Muleshoe Bend GPX?
Signed up for the Muleshoe Bend Xterra on 08/11. Unfortunately, I'll likely not be able to make it to the race course preview on Friday the 10th. Does anyone have a GPX file of the bike course they could share? I'd like to head out next weekend (or beforehand) to preview the bike leg.

I'd say you don't really need a GPX file. The bike course is basically two clockwise loops of the Great Escape Trail:

The race loop normally includes "Side Winder", and when you get to "Fish Tail Loop" it takes the left branch. The trails out there are really well marked so you can't really get lost just following the Great Escape Trail which is 99% of the course.

I'll also mention that the bike race course does take a slight shortcut trail a little ways after Fish Tail Loop but before the road crossing because the run course uses that stretch of the main trail. You probably shouldn't worry about that during your pre-ride. You'll also obviously start down by the water so you ride a little bit of jeep trail to get out to the main loop.

Anyway, I think you should be able to get a GPX file from here if you really want it:

Feel free to ask any other questions about the race/course.
