Would you buy this tri bike?
It's time to get a new Speed Concept. I know at some point, I will sell this bike, and get another.

Would you buy it because of the color scheme assuming everything else was sound?

Do you like the color scheme?

I'm even good with bright bikes, but that's too close to a safety vest.

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that speed, for lack of a better word, is good. Speed is right, Speed works. Speed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.

Yes. I am tired of the "all black, everything black" phase the bike industry has been stuck in.

Yea the whole black or solid red or red colored bikes are lame. I got the felt IA 15 that is yellow, black, and blue and it is sweet. Ive seen some custom jobs that are outrageous but awesome. Bring back the neon 80's!

Also, that bike is sponsored by McDonalds

I'd definitely get it. Even if you want to tame it a bit, people are doing wraps now. It's very easy to find in transition and also for friends and family to pick out in the field. What's not to like?

I'll be the honest contrarian here and say that I would NOT buy that bike specifically because of the color scheme.

If you're asking whether this color scheme will hurt your resale value, the answer is probably yes. But buy it anyway...

It's definitely not the same mustard yellow of the McDonald's colors, for sure, but I don't think I'd call it green.

I've seen it in person and I do think it looks good. My biggest frustration about the Trek SC is how few people have the appropriate cockpit option for their fit coordinates. That's a shop/fitter problem more than a bike problem.

I don't like it. Maybe another set of colors?

If you like it, buy it. No need to settle for something you kinda like just for resale value's sake. When it comes time to sell it, all you need is one person to like it, not everyone. Plus, in the use market, it seems like most people have a price point and a brand or two they want. That paint job will actually set yours apart from all the others in that range, and that's bound to appeal to at least a couple people.

Yep. HiViz has become my favorite color. Anything that increases visibility with drivers is good!

I wouldn't buy that color scheme for myself, however there are advantages of having a bike in a color scheme different than everyone else...and I like that.

I love the yellow, don’t like the red quite as much. Is this project one? If so, that yellow would look great with a light blue
