I do but semantics I think dictate he didn't. But I also won't make it a big deal of using "wire to wire".

He didn't lead the entire time, and wasn't even in the lead group all the time, because in the beginning of the bike leg Brownlee gapped the rest for a few miles.

no because he did not lead from wire to wire simples!

I agree. I think for the men’s race this is as close as anyone will get going truly wire to wire. The dynamics of the race, the strategy of the people in it and the depth means we won’t see someone pull a LCB and be off the front from the very beginning and through the bike

Yeah I assumed wire to wire is start to finish... That sounds more like what lucy almost did. Not easy to do with brownlee around
