Greetings -
I just got back from my usual Saturday group ride & I have a question about which you guys (and gals) think is tougher.....riding solo & steady for 3 hours at 16-17 mph or riding hard for 3 hours at 20-22 mph with bursts that push the tempo to 28+ mph in my group ride....
Which burns more calories?
Which is tougher to recover from?
Which is better for my all-around training?
