Which bike
I’m in the market for a tri bike.
Looking at a new Canyon speedmax sl 8.0. But what are the options buying used. Been looking at used cervelos and shivs. Which model and model year is “ok” without being too outdated?
Any other suggestions?

2014 is when cervelo updated the P2 and P3 line adding the bosses for bento boxes and running the shifting cables through the top tube.

The used market should be pretty ripe soon. People are finishing up their seasons and either looking to upgrade or are one and done so selling off.

Check out Facebook marketplace as well as the groups tri n sell it and online swap and meet for cycles on Facebook. Lots of nice bikes on there.

Are you ok with rim brakes or looking to upgrade to disc? That would limit your choices as well.

If you don't have any legacy rim wheels, then go with disc brakes.
