Where to swim near Denver? (Safer at Home)
Since Mayor Hancock likes to make things difficult, I'm looking for a pool in/around Denver to start swimming. It seems like many of the adjacent counties will be opening pools soon (but Denver Rec will be closed until "at least" July). Any suggestions? Boulder is too far; looking on the south/west side. i.e., Littleton, etc.

I would love it if DU opened up, but it's unknown whether they will.

From what I've heard, it's a PITA to swim out there... I think you have to be registered with a group already and then register for a time slot.

it's fine if you plan to swim there regularly all summer, otherwise the overheads are more than I want to deal with for occasional swimming..

You have to gain top security clearance, pass a polygraph, endure SEAL training and sign a waiver in blood to even dip a toe in the gravel pond.

Don’t even LOOK at the other reservoirs or you’ll get sniped.
