Watching http://www.youtube.com/...&feature=related I never knew that Kara Goucher (top tier US women's runner) had a patellar tendon injury. Apparently 1/4 of her tendon was taken out at some point. Anybody know what happened?

I have one, too. Maybe there is hope :)
