What happened to Hiromu Inada?
Anyone know what happened to this 85-89 AG legend in Kona? He swam around 1:50 and was looking at around 7:45 bike split, but his times stopped coming in around 2/3 of the way through. Looking back on the IMWC results page doesn’t show much detail.
If he’s around in 2020 he definitely should be on breakfast with Bob, I would love his back story (as much as you could get in 10-15 mins!

I'd also like to know what stopped him, its unfortunate.

Although I disagree on BwB, Bob is boring enough without needing a translator. Thankfully there are plenty of written articles about him.

You’re probably right about BwB. I find him more inoffensive rather than boring, his interviews are very tame, although he probably wouldn’t get as much participation if he was beasting his guests?
It would be good to get more coverage of some of the more unique age groupers though.

I love BWB the same way than I love Mike Reilly!
They focus on positive and fun and I like this, athlete are relaxed with them because yhey know they won’t be ambushed by them!
Don’t expect gory details or big secrets but always nice for me to hear!

I heard from a Japanese friend with the media who was in Kona.

Inada-san struggled with the wind on the bike and stopped about 20km before T2. The wind was too much for him to handle.

Hope he can give it another go next year.
