Oh, wow, this will be a tough one...

Had numerous bikes as a kid when I raced, but I never owned them (the club did, or rather, the sponsoring manufacturer did through the club...), so can't count those.

First bike I bought myself (and still have it!), CyclePro (don't know the model, but it's purple with pink and yellow splashes... yes very much early 80's!). After that:

mid-80's Battaglin steel frame with full Campy Athena
2001 Kestrel Talon with Shimano Ultegra
2003 Orbea Orca Team Jelly Belly colors, Shimano Ultegra and FSA crank, later changed over to Campy Chorus with FSA crank
2007 Look 595 with Campy Record (still riding this one), just updated with Rotor 3D/Quarq
2007 Look 496Tri with Campy Chorus
2007 Colnago Extreme Power (amazing bike, but ended up falling in love with the Look and rarely rode it, so I sold it to someone that is enjoying it and treating it right)
2010 Fuji SST with a mix of Campy components and an FSA crank (at my in-laws so I don't have to drag my bike with me)
2011 Look 596 with Campy Record

That's it for a while... my wife has a couple of bikes more than me, so we're running out of room soon... :-)

Years in sport - 22 yrs.
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 158

1974 Supercycle "10 speed" (from Santa. That's what everyone rode back then. No BMX or MTB at that time...)
1981 Rossi (Campagnolo/Miche components) 57 cm
1986 Raleigh (Converted it to a fixie a couple of years ago)
1991 Concorde "Road Work" (Added aerobars, forward seat post and a JetStream hydration system! What a pain in the butt to clean.) 58 cm
1998 Wheeler T62 tribike (650c & Gripshifters. A weird looking bike. The pic is in my profile) 58 cm
2005 Trek Madone (The best bike I've ever owned.) 58 cm
2008 Trek Equinox E7 (Upgraded pretty much everything but the frame. New crank, Easton aerobars and race wheels. Fast enough for me to not have any excuses...) 56 cm

Nothing new on the horizon...

Going back to childhood? First bike was a red, white & blue Huffy 'Star Spangler' for my 7th birthday (in 1976, when the nation was gripped with Bicentennial Fever), then a Huffy 'Phaser' BMX bike when I was maybe 10 or so. First road bike in Jr Hi was a Nishiki. All of those got passed down to the younger brothers when I outgrew them.

First 'real' bike was a Fuji S-12S LTD in HS, which got stolen and replaced by the original fat welded-aluminum Cannondale (back when only Klein had pioneered the design and the only other AL frames were the whippy bonded classics like Vitus and Alan). Still have the Cannondale.

First MTB was a Marin Nail Trail I got during the early glory days of rainbow-anodized CNC parts ('92?) that got stolen after I got out of the Navy, replaced by a Litespeed Obed using my insurance claim. Still have the Litespeed.

First carbon road racing bike was a Dean (Kestrel 200 in disguise) which I built up myself w/ 8-spd DA as a 'Getting-out-of-the-Navy' present with the money I'd saved from my last deployment. Still got it. (Noticing a pattern yet?)

Got 2 other beater roadies as eBay refugeee frames (a Giordana and a Schwinn, both steel) that I used to build up w/ spare parts I had lying around the garage from various upgrades/rebuilds of the Dean & Cannondale, which I've since modified to a semi-permanent trainer bike and my dedicated rain bike.

I also bought a cheap Bridgestone MTB for a full-on commuter when I went back to college (racks, fenders, lights; the works), and received a couple 'heirloom' bikes from my Dad after he got old & started downsizing... one was an early-70s Gazelle which I've fixed up as a single-speed townie & fair-weather commuter (no racks/fenders, etc) and a classic celeste Bianchi I re-built with older Campy 8-spd (not original vintage, but the oldest w/ Ergo shifting & casette gearing).

Newest is a Cervelo P2C from '08 after I got back into doing triathlons & TTs, which was a big part of what led me to find ST in doing the pre-purchasing homework. Bought the frameset only and moved most of the existing bastard TT conversion set-up over from the latest incarnation of the Dean, then re-built the Dean with a current 10-spd era road group so it was almost like getting 2 new bikes for the price of 1.

So, basically I still have every bike I've ever owned that I didn't outgrow and wasn't stolen, 9 in all. They're like my kids, only before I had kids (well, except for the Cervelo). And yes, I'm aware I have a bit of a gear hoarding problem (or 'Bike Ho' as you put it).

My name is IZZYG and I buy redundant bikes.

Seriously dude. Find something better to do with your money (or please tell me you're retired). I love bikes, but that's ridiculous. I love Cervelos and that's ridiculous. If you have that much money to spend on bikes, at least diversify a bit. I'm assuming you've sold some and recouped at least a decent proportion of your original investment since you bought a lot close together, but still that's still a lot of money.
