Following the lead of another poster asking "Worst Songs" for a workout mix I'm flipping the dumbest thing you've ever done in a race question on it's head as well.

I'd have to say the smartest things i've done in a race come the weeks prior. tapering correctly, riding the course(important), eating right. but to answer your question the best race I had was when I drafted in a swim. It felt too easy. thought I was going so slow but when I got out of the water, I had the fastest swim split. Doesnt happen too often but when it does its effortless.
