I am getting ready to buy my first wetsuit and trying to decide to get the full or the long john. I don't anticipate being competitive, so speed is not my interest here - i have read the Slowtwitch articles on this. I am most interested on opinions related to comfort and temperature, both of the water and the body. e.g.: in which temperature range should i be comfortable in the long john, vs. the full & what is the better all around choice? I plan on using the suit for all distances primarily in and around North Carolina - ocean & lake swims. By the way, I sink well, so it's a good thing i am only pretty poor on the bike and run, nonetheless, I am hooked on this sport!
