Well Portland, add me to your statistic for stolen bikes

My own damn fault. Leaving the coast this morning, in a hurry, failed to put the lock on my bikes on the hitch rack. Stopped in Clackamas at a seemingly nice shopping area (still failed to notice I hadn't locked the bikes) for a quick errand, came out to my wife's bike neatly- laid against the side of our vehicle, while my Felt f3 road bike was nowhere to be seen.

Filed a report with the sheriff, and checked with the Shopping Center stores so they can review their security cameras.

This is NOT how I wanted to end up shopping for a new bike, I loved that thing. Apparently mine was the 5th stolen bike reported today.

Soooo, Portland peeps...if you see an F3 with aG3 powertap, Red crank, 60mm carbon clincher front...can you give me a shout?

If no luck on recovering it, looks like a car insurance claim. Anyone here with experience going through that process?

What did someone on here say about a special place in hell for bike thieves?
