Virtual Semicamp - adapt for Intl distance
Quote | Reply
My training is definitely in need of this semicamp kick in the pants.

Can anyone recommend an adaptation to the virtual schedule to suit the short-coursers? (International distance.) I don't think simply cutting these distances in half is the answer.

How about a separate forum category for short course bragging?

The only way you can do short-course bragging is to train like an IM for a week and then say at the end "I can take it!" :-)

Seriously, if you have the time, then doing those amounts of training will help your short-course racing. I would just run a bit more and bike a bit less.

it is adapted to short coursers. it's base work. go easy. do what you can.

just don't put yourself too far into a hole. do what you can to get through 9 days unsick.

Dan's right. I think that his distances are very well adapted to short coursers. It's base work, so the more you can do without getting sick, the better.

Personally, I don't think that we short course folks get enough respect!
