"one 1 hour = 20 miles?"

on a trainer? depends on effort. easy effort? 1hr = 14 miles. medium? 1hr = 16mi. season to taste.

Dan,

where are you doing your 6 hour ride on Wednesday next week? I am doing the Corralitas Duathlon on Saturday but would still be up for a low intensity long ride on Wednesday. Any chance you want to head down this way and do the Henshaw loop? (Dudley's stop my treat!).

i figured that would ferret you out. i thought i'd do the regular bonsall 9AM ride with pete and the boys. i'll reconnoiter with pete and we'll plan something decent, like palomar, or the "5 casinos ride."

I have this recollection that trainer time is 1.5x road time so for 16 mph we should get 24 points. It was an article in Triathlete a few years back so it has to be true : ).

Dan, thanks for setting up Virtual Camp for us mere mortals. I've been itching to find some structure as the spring sun soaks the snowy peaks here around Boulder.

I better start tapering for Saturday!

sounds good to me, it's been a while since I have done Pete's ride. So long that they dropped me from the email list :(

I'll be there next week though. Maybe we could go up and do the Clinton Keith loop.

FYI, for people who read the first post with the "or" in it about using a treadmill, this is about the biking session, people, not the running one.

Or maybe not.

See you in the virtual hospital if that's the case.

Keep us posted. Wednesday is usually my 2nd long ride day and I'm always ready to tackle a different route.

Mike, I'm also thinking about going up for Corralitos so I'll take it easy w/ you.
