3M 1080 matte black and metallic blue. I sourced the material from an auto wrapping company in town, who had a large pile of scraps from previous jobs. They let me take what I wanted and only charged me a fraction of what it would cost online. I have enough to wrap my road bike next.
This is a must have as it allows the material to become flexible and stretch around corners.
3M knifeless tape
This is layed down under the vinyl and then used to make hidden seams and make straight cuts.
At first I tried using a box cutter, but quickly learned I needed a smaller sharper blade so I went to Home Depot and bought a scalpel like blade.
If you have any questions about the process, let me know. I am no expert, I will try to be as helpful as possible. Overall, it turned out pretty good.
How much would you be willing to pay to have your bike wrapped?
