Scary stuff. I live in rural Georgia where deer are so prevalent they are almost like a pest. I've hit a few in a car and witnessed the damage they cause. Can't imagine hitting one on a bike! Close call indeed.

I saw that when it did the rounds on Reddit. In some ways the actual video with the soundtrack is much better viewing. Glad you are all unscathed.

Yea my initial thought was that someone had an updated on Melissa Hauschildt, not a local Charlottean, when I read the headline. And I know the Mel in question, ha.
