I just bought Vitoria latex tubes which required extenders so I bought evo ones that were all the bike shop offered. I put on the extender (with Teflon tape (but not with the valve core). This requires removing the valve core and putting it on the extender. I replaced my tubes and went to pump them up and my pump won’t fit anymore as in it gets stopped by the extender because the valve core goes in deeper than my old tubes. . It will kind of work if I untwist the valve core, but that leaks air.

My pump is a beto that stands on the floor. Should the pump fit around the extender?
