april 21, Tour of Cologne in Germany, 197km...
Jan Ulrich broke away alone 55km from the finish, and won by nearly 2 minutes, averaging 44km/h
(27.4mph)...
everyone agreed he looked already VERY fit...

that's a good sign! maybe we'll have a heck of a time following the Tour this summer!
