UCI chart and the Tour...

Not sure if this was mentioned already but the Tour de France organisers have announced that riders that will not sign the chart will not be allowed to start.

So much for it being "voluntary", huh?

Kind of reminds me of when a portion of the business I was working for at the time was sold off. Us employees who were assigned to that part of the business were told that we could either accept new jobs with the company that bought that portion of the business, or we would "voluntarily quit"...uh,huh.

It is voluntary. The UCI is an organisation, the TdF is a business...just like the WTC. They invite whoever they want.

None of us have any rights in life, unless you hire the ACLU.

Any business should be able to put rules in place that allow it to be successful. Folks
can start their own businesses if they do not like it.

Typical UCI, change the rules in the middle of the season to make themselves look better by threatening big punishments for the riders...while ignoring the teams and DS's.
