Triple front chain ring - how does it compare?
Ok, just got my new bike, and I followed (I think it was him who started this thread on gearing) TripleThreat's advice and for the first time I now have a Triple front chain ring (52 - 42 - 32 I think, in Ultegra).

Now my question is : what is the equal to the 39/25 on the 32 ??? And is it usable ?

Your Ultegra is 52-42-30. OK class. Let's do proportions. 39 is to 25 as 30 is to what number? That's right. Cross multiply and solve for X. 30*25/39 = 19.23.

Yes, 30/19 is very usable.
