As the subject line says. Has anyone fit the newer bento box onto the older 7 series? I have the original and don’t like how the cables mess with the box a bit and believe the storage would be better in the new one but know it’s designed for the 2014 and later models. The other thought is a DSW box instead.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit since it just uses the standard bosses on the top tube. Is it aero optimal on a gen 1 SC I don't know.

This is true. I put a gen 2 speed box on my Gen 1 SC 9.5. It fits fine with a small gap underneath the front end.

Have a SC 7.0 2011. I just installed the new Torhans Bento X which bolts right to the top bar, almost perfect fit. I think it holds more too. See attached pics.
