I'm going to be staying in Bastrop east of Austin for a month of work. Looking for any suggestions on swimming, biking and running in the area. Unfortunately, it looks like the pool in Bastrop state park is closed for renovation. Anyone know of any pools that wouldn't require driving all the way to Austin? Any feedback on running and biking routes is highly appreciated! Also, any recommendations for fast weekend group rides (yes, I'd be on a road bike) in the Austin or surrounding area would be useful. Thanks.
