Touch Up Paint for Cervelo (Pantone Black C)
I have a very small chip on my 2018 Cervelo P3 Black/Red.

Cervelo's technical support told me that the color code is Pantone Black C.

However, I am having a hard time finding an exact match (or a very near match) for Pantone Black C online.

Can someone please help recommend how I can find a touch up paint online that is similar to Pantone Black C?

You have a car paint shop around you? They have all the basics and data to get you exactly what you need and since it’s dip of color you might end up not buying more than you need

Hi, I googled Pantone Black C. This link shows the components of the color.

People who work with colors should be able to get this for you.

The best advice I can give you is to go to a car paint shop. Some of them can scan a colour.

Even if you know the right colour code, there are several factors affecting the paint.

The finish, matte or floss. It’s almost impossible to make correction on matte. Also, time. A color can fade.

Last, when a designer ask a factory for Pantone black, it’s a only reference, so the role of the factory is to come with a paint as close as possible. It’s not necessary perfect.

In the industry, we try to avoid Pantone system cause, you don’t have a lot of option for pearl and metallic effect.
