I recently bought a used Zipp Super 9 clincher that came with a Zipp Tangente 23 tire on it.

I am doing a few time trials this summer and will likely keep it on for those but my A race of the year is a 70.3.

I'm wondering if I should switch to a GP5000 for added puncture resistance or if this tire is ok. I'm asking because I read that Zipp tires pair well with Zipp wheels for aerodynamics but I would take some puncture resistance over that for a 70.3 right now.

Also - I have an old TT bike and the disc wheel with this tire barely fits. Do you think a 23 GP5k would blow up bigger and cause clearance problems?
