That story reminds me of a guy we had in medical school. Brilliant but kinda clumsy. One day he walked into a neurosurgery OR and tripped over the operating microscope cord and disconnected it. He was repeatedly doing stuff like that. Ended up specializing in eye tumors.

Early in the bike, Jan’s dog almost pulls the trainer cord out. He likens it to the TO incident.

His training partner also got a digital flat (dropout) and lost about 5min on the bike (they were doing it together). Jan took a long T2 so they could start the run together.
