Nope. I had a few teammates overhear a guy say that to another P5-Six owner and the guy got all pissed off about it saying it was all about the rider, not the gear.

Of course they had to tell me as I'm riding a P5-Six as well.

SoCalKQ,

The Aduro bar only comes in one width - 38cm. I realize that can take a little getting used to, especially for taller folk that are accustomed to wider bars on their other bikes, but I recommend that you give it a try. I remember talking with Tom Lowe at Kona last year and he came to love the Aduro at 6'4" (6"5" maybe...)

Ultimately, if you still don't like the width, the P5 works with any standard handle bar and stem but you will loose the ability to hide the cables and cover the front brake.

Nice gift by the way....

The way it should be. I clean my bike after every ride. My GF compares me to a guy who owns a nice fancy car and obsesses over cleaning it after every ride. At least she accepts where she stands in our relationship. ;-)

I think the official line is that it is a paint job that is being used in a couple of markets. I like it :)

Is there a 2 bottle behind the saddle system that works with the P5? I used the xlabs delta wing on my P3 but I can only find a one bottle option for the P5.
Thanks
Dale

Dale,

I believe that X-lab will still have some good options for you. You might have to look at their Carbon wing style system. It mounts to the saddle rails so it should work on pretty much anything as long as you are not all the way forward in terms of saddle adjustment. Check out this page: http://www.xlab-usa.com/...ems/carbon-wing.html

I don't have much in the way of personal experience with rear mount systems but, luckily, there are plenty of others who do on this forum. Hopefully someone else has experience with rear mounts on the P5 (other than the Delta single bottle). I know that Candice from X-lab posts here sometimes so she might be the best person to answer your questions.

I want to place an order for this color scheme is possible.

Thank you,

+1. I have it on my bike and it works well. I also have their tire bag underneath it to hold my spares.

You can actually have it fit INSIDE the wing. I was able to get a tube, tire clips, and a small tool set inside.

I am telling cervelo to shove it too. Been waiting 1 year to the day. I have both a P 4 and a P3C.and the most I had to wait was 6 months from when they were introduced. This company has gotten terrible about info on bikes that you have money down on. Two of the bike shops in my local stopped selling ceverlo for some reason. My order had to be transfreed to another store an hour further away. I have had enough! Changing bikes and the new frame is already here.

Hi Dale,

We don't have a 2 bottle system specific to the P5, but as David mentioned the Carbon Wing is a great system that mounts to your saddle rails. We also have an alloy version of it called the Super Wing. Another 2 bottle carrier that we have the Turbo Wing. Main difference is storage bag options.

Let me know if I can answer any questions on these!

Thanks!

This is for anyone (or david if he could help me out).

Anyone have an aduro bar that they are looking to unload? Are the upgrade kits still available?

This is my P5 six ++ (plus plus) machine.
Double Magura RT & Double Di2 setting.

I was provoked by the following report.
http://redkiteprayer.com/2012/01/hydraulics-for-roadies/

Base bar : Magura RT8 + Di2 switch
Aero bar : Magura RT6 + Di2 switch

Hi kulcha,

As above URL report says,
" Ifm certainly curious to see if anyone is going to try mounting brakes on both their base and extension bars in a time trial. The ability to brake from the extensions and maintain an aero position could be an genuine advantage."
I think so, too.

Instead of regular brake levers what would be interesting is a different type of brake lever that was easier to use while in aero bars and was more aero. So something that was higher than the bar. Maybe something that was like a big pair of brass knuckles that you pulled. More for slowing down then actually stopping. I use ski bars so thinking more in terms of when using ski
