The disappearing act of Callum Millward
Does anybody know what happened to Callum? I know he's still alive and started the Cupcake Cartel, but he was really rising to prominence and it kind of just stopped. Callum had a huge win at Boulder 70.3 and a podium at IM New Zealand, then it seemed like you never really heard from him again. Did he have a big injury or something that I'm not aware of. I love his personality and he seemed to race pretty well with a fairly impressive run (Hanging with Cam Brown), I would love to know if anybody knows why he seemingly fell off.

yeah he's been racing. IMWA last year, IMNZ this year. He was injured with a stress fracture for a while I believe.

I suspect starting his Cupcake Cartel took some time away from training but he’s been racing. 2nd behind Starky in Lou last year too.

Hey Aerobean,

My disappearing act is finally up. Initially we were getting great audience numbers - opening for David Copperfield in Vegas, the money was coming in the confidence was up, as were T shirt sales. Then it all came crashing down one day following a weekend family tennis tournament.

I developed a severe case of tennis elbow trying to return my fathers aggressive serve. The following week we had an intense performance schedule in Vegas. The Cupcakes disappearing act was in limbo as I could no longer perform the 'rabbit in a hat' trick. My elbow was simply too weak. The audience sensed something was up. T shirt sales dried up, my manager quit and that was the beginning of the end. Good bye Vegas, hello Ironman racing.

So Im back aerobean. Im racing Ironman 70.3 Busselton in Western Australia this weekend pending no appearances from white pointers (See Sharks). Then Im off to the Asia Pacific Champs in Cairns, Australia in June before heading back to Boulder, CO for Ironman 70.3 Boulder.

You can follow my movements in person or the best snippets on social media.

One will always take tennis elbow in lieu of a bizarre gardening accident. Glad to hear you're alive and well, here's to hoping the results pick up where you left off. Best of luck with the upcoming races.

Isn't that the sort of thing that's best left to your doctor?
