The Dimond Marquise of The GMAN
Specs
Dimond Marquise size medium (which is equivalent to a large or 56 from most other manufacturers with frame stack/reach of 540/425)
TriRig Alpha One stem/bar with attached Xlab Torpedo Kompact cage and Garmin 820 computer
11 speed
Shimano Dura-Ace crankset 52/36 and 11-25 cassette
Shimano Ultegra Di2 FD and RD
Single control brifters and TT shifters
Wheelset: Hed H3+ front, Jet Disc+ rear with Conti GP4000SII 25mm tires
TriRig Omega X brakes
KMC X11SL chain orange/black
Pedals/Power Meter: Favero Assioma Duo
Dash Stage 9 saddle

Custom paint job. Why that paint scheme? I love this country, work for the government, and love Syracuse University sports. Mix all that together and that's what you get.

My photography skills aren't the greatest and they're cell phone pics so the colors look a bit wonky in the pics.

Storage in the beam (Di2 junction in there, can hold like 20 gels too):

The frame is almost a year old now. I haven't ridden it yet. I had the bad bike crash the week before I received the frame.

So two more years. ;-)

Thanks!

Nobody stains the fences around here. The fence is only like 7-8 years old. Plus I'm moving to Florida in two months so I don't give a shit. :-)

Very nice. Now the question is... when are you going to race this puppy?

I have Augusta and Cartagena on the docket for later this year. I’m not sure about Augusta since I will be moving to Florida in June and might be too busy between now and September.

And I’m incredibly out of shape.

Outside of Houston. Are big brick houses abnormal?

Not in Florida yet. But yes, everyone will assume it’s University of Florida themed.

Fellow Houstonian here. I'd ask if you were planning to sell your treadmill but I've read how you beat the crap out of it. I guess I'll keep shopping. Best of luck on the move.

The building materials, house spacing, fence type, tree type and spacing, how green the grass is are all very post oak prairie northwest of Houston stretching up to Waco and Dallas. But I do geography and forestry for a day job, so that's normal for me to notice that. ;)

Yeah, that area's builders have had a woody for building houses out of that kind of brick for quite a few years now. I believe it got started in Dallas and moved south.

Must be confusing me with someone else. I don't have a treadmill.

Where are you moving in FL? Unless you're moving to Clermont, you can knock that chainring down to a 1X.

Ponte Vedra. I like to do hilly races on occasion, like Whistler, so a 1x isn’t going to cut it.

When you are ready to sell it in Florida, just put a University of Florida sticker on that rig before you list it.
