I just wanted to say thanks to some of the best support I've ever seen at a race, especially in some pretty nasty conditions at times. For those that have never been to Taupo or competed in this race, do your best to get there. The roads in Taupo were lined with people ALL day and deep into the bike 27 miles outside the city, people were braving the wind and rain yelling like maniacs (And my wife and I needed all their energy to cross the finish line as we battled late into the night). The volunteers, as always at IM Races, were nothing short of stellar and the city itself is beautiful and charming. What a perfect first experience and well done IMNZ!!!!!!!
