TOD Syndrome Solutions

One of my track teammates always suffered from TOD, or Tip of D, syndrome while running. His band-aid solution always worked. This affliction finally occurred to me during an olympic distance using my new Kiwami suit, even though I had done a long bike + brick workout previously with no symptoms. I'm guessing the salt water swim made the material more abrasive?

My question is, has anyone else suffered chaffing in this area from a trisuit, and what was your solution? Coat the area in triglide or something? There is no way I could've finished a marathon under those conditions. Thanks.
