So I got a couple of pairs of these to replace my wearing-out Power shorts. Rode with them, ran with them. Very nice. However, this morning I swam with them, and they seemed really "slow". There doesn't seem to be any elastic in the leg openings, so they felt like they were flapping around. They also don't feel nearly as tight as the Power shorts, although both my old and the new shorts are medium. The old shorts feel more like my Speedo Endurance jammers than do these.

Anyone else with similar or contrary views? How much slower are these than the power shorts, or is it at the level of "who cares"? I have a pool swim triathlon next weekend, and I need to decide on which shorts to wear.
