Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I'm a beginner at this.
I'll be doing my first attempts in Tri next year. I live in a cold region in north east Canada.
Just read the rules about water temperature. I assume I'll need a wetsuit. Good thing for me as it will help my legs float, lol.
How important is it to choose a good quality ( and I guess pricey, ouch !) wetsuit ?
For a beginner on a budget, Am I better to shop for a good quality suit on the used market ?
Or one lower end from a new material ?
The use I plan to do is the following: Put it on maybe 6 to 8 times for open water practices (most of my swims I'll do in the pool). I'll try one or two olympic or 70.3 distance Tri's on soft water, lake or river.
Louis :)
