Curious what your thoughts are on this:
Redman/ Long Course Nationals forecast water temp is 75-78F, has been traditionaly wetsuit legal.
In water that warm I found my Helix too hot. I am a 30min HIM swimmer and debating weather to purchase a swim skin for this race or race it in my 2XU Endurance 1 peace suit with Speedtube 5 over my legs. My concern is that I overheat easy, comfort is important. Speed between two choices is also a factor.
I am leaning toward Speedtube 5 as it will adress comfort, give some speed advantage. Am I thinking wrong here.
I am looking to PR the distance, choice will be critical in that regard. All this assuming very warm water, but still wetsuit legal. If it goes over, swim skin becomes no brainer, but I am willing to take chance in that case.
