What a start to the day on the first climb! This day is going to be fun, for us to follow not for guys to race.

GO FLOYD!!! He has a lot of time to make up and a long ways to go to finish the stage, but it'd be great if he was back in GC contention after this stage!!

You can probably have it back after today. If things go well, he'll be riding that yellow one tomorrow.

I don't even care if he survives the stage. That move takes some serious nuts. The more I watch him, the more I like him.
It would make that last TT very interesting if he can get within 2 minutes or so of the yellow today.

Will there be any water left in France tonight? Floyd sure seems to be using alot. Do you think he overheated yesterday or is he just using the team car for a free ride up the climbs?

The maillot jaune group is closing the gap to Landis' group. Only 3'00" now. Very gutsy move by Landis.

I dodn't know O'Grady could climb! Wasn't he injured at the start of the Tour?

I'm with you...Floyd saying loud and clear I AINT NO PUNK BITCH...first or last...the French guys can sit around and battle it out for 8th...Gotta give it up to a guy who's willing to risk it all for the win!

OK - still 80K to go today... but how much time do you think Floyd needs to regain to be in a position to win with a strong TT? Within 2 minutes? 3?

Perhaps... but Floyd is the new Lance. He can do anything.

Who knows, but he's 5' ahead of the maillot jaune group, and he is with a group who will probably help him (Well, 2 of them will anyway) Sinkewitz is up there for T-Mobile and OGrady for CSC, so they shouldn't be working.

Looking at the previous TT, if Landis is within 2minutes of the leader, he'll have a good shot.

The gap is 6 minutes and rising once again. When will the peloton pick up the pace?

Prediction: Landis will win the stage by 1'15" (plus or minus 10 seconds) over the next GC contender.
