My wife and I are on springbreak March 27th -April 4th. We want to travel see a few sights and race a tri. Does anyone know of a small fun tri during this time?

Abitaman Sprint, Navarre Beach, FL, April 4. 600M Swim, 18 Mi. Bike, 5K Run. www.abitaman.com for details. If you like emerald green gulf water, white sands, sea oats, flat bike/run course, hotel with indoor pool, and reasonable cost, you'll like this one.

The Rocky Point Triathlon in Mexico is a fun one. It is about 4 hours South of Phoenix. They have both an Olympic distance and a sprint distance race. For more info try www.tucsonracing.com

Little race in Forster Australia on 4 April called IM Oz. Just think of it as a sprint tri, only 10 times in a row.

Yes, Rocky Point is fun, and the last time I did it, there was a beer truck at the finish line. It's April 3rd.
