Race ready for this Sundays 70.3 in Florida. Still have to put the race tires back on. Spare kit is tucked under the saddle. Still trying to decide whether or not to remove the decals from the rear wheel or buy decals for the front. Thoughts??? And I need a disc cover. Waiting for some extra funds to swap out the cockpit, or find a sweet deal

Hi, nice looking machine - with the stickers I think you can't go wrong either way.
One question: What size frame is this? I like how the virtue aero bottle exactly fits in the bottom corner of the frame "triangle". Is this true for any frame size? I thought I've seen pictures where there's a little gap to the seat tube...
if you can read this

Looks just like that on my medium. I think what you are seeing is that some mount the bottle in the second set of holes, which moves it up about an inch. Maybe easier to remove and install while riding? I have to jiggle mine sometimes going both directions.

Should fit fine with any frame. Mated up great w/ my large Transition, does the same with my XL.

I used a piece of aluminum that i had laying around and attached the cage to it with a single screw. I then zip tied the aluminum to the bar extensions. The rear of the cage is resting on the base bar and it too is zip tied.
I basically made my own version of the profile design mount and saved myself $30-40

I prefer this method over just using zip ties, it feels much more sturdy and i have personally have better piece of mind knowing i won't be mid ride and lose a bottle.
hope this helps

Very nice!! She needs a black crank, brakes, seat post clamp and saddle clamp to finish it off.

Almost finished with my PITA project. Still needs Flo 60, 90 and white bar tape. Also, still hadn't put the final piece of green vinyl on the chainstay in this pic.[/img]

Two questions guys.
1.Where can I get one of those aero triangular bottles at?
2. Is it true that disc covers do not fit on the transition bc the chainstay widths are too narrow?
Forgive me as I am no wrench....Also fyi those flat black transitions are sick!!!!

Here is where I purchased mine. Seemed to be the best price around.

Anyone experience seatpost slippage? Twice I've tighten to spec and she keeps slowly slipping down. Just carbon greased it up and tightened again. I weigh 155lbs so I don't think my weight is an issue.

Nope. And I've ridden them exclusively for the past 4 years, 3 different Transitions. I'm 165lbs now, have been upwards of 180.
Even without carbon paste I had no issues. But with carbon paste & proper torque, can't see how you'd have an issue.

wheelbuilder built me a disc cover for a Jet60 that fits on my 2011 transition. I told them upfront that i was aware of the issue, they asked for photos of the wheel, and built a NDS cover that fits flush with the inside of the wheel.
