Soloist Question
I'll admit it, I'm a big guy.. probably a lil bigger than I should be, but I'm working on that. I'm at 215 now targeting 195.

Anyways, I ride a 58 Soloist Team and I'm a bit concerned about that looonnnngggg carbon seatpost. It was the only real thing that gave me hesitation to buying a semi-compact geometry bike.

That being said, the bike was a champ at Wildflower. It was a lil squirrelly on those decents, but that might just have been the rider!

I'll link an image if someone shows me how and if you think it's needed.

Thanks!!!

Sorry!

As long as you're well past the minimum insertion mark, I can't think of much to worry about.

Yeah, my dad and I both ride cervelo SLC's and he rides the 61 cm frame and has his post out alot but enough to meet the minimum insertion. He is 6-6 and is about 215-220. I am 6-3 and ride the 58 cm frame and have my post out alot too.

Make sure its in the minimum insertion recommended by cervelo and you will be good.
