So I guess it really is a Cervelo...

Gerard, it looks you've got the whole painting thing for the 2.5s cleared up. Looks good...

There's some great bike pics up on cycling news. I dig the new C'Dale...

Oohh... Ahh....

So, are they riding the R2.5 on the flat stages or just the mountains? Do the rider's with R2.5's ride the Soloist for any stages or is it one or the other?

Also, curious if anyone sees CSC riding 303's in the upcoming mountains. Will they? Just curious.

More likely Z3s. That's what they rode in Dauphine.

Some have been riding the Soloist, but most have been on the R2.5 to get some miles in and get used to the bike before the mountains.

As for wheels, the majority of the team was on 303s and 404s in the Dauphine (I believe they only used one or two Z3 wheelsets) but Zipp and Cervelo have loaned some extra Z3 sets to the team just for the Tour. I figured I could make due with my Z4s for a few weeks :-)

Just wondering, Gerard, do you get to go to le Tour? Looking at the time of your posts, I hope that you are still this side of the Atlantic, but in the other hand I also hope that you will get there before the finish.

No, I'm not going. It's too busy on this side of the pond right now, plus I have finally started to train for IMC so I don't want to travel and interupt my training (I've made three short trips to Europe this year and got sick all three times).

Maybe next year.
