Ok, quick ha-ha moment: bought new power meter pedals and they're *super* tight. Hadn't really gotten everything straightened out and long story short, couldn't unclip in the driveway and drove my shoulder into my car's fender.
Thought it was just dislocated (it was, I got it back in, yes it hurt like shit), but after a couple of weeks, things weren't feeling right. Had it scanned Friday night and sure enough, she's broke.
Officially, "acute nondisplaced fracture suspected through the greater tuberosity." Good news?: "The glenohumeral articulation is intact without evidence of subluxation... AC joint is congruent without significant arthritis."
Soo... where'm I at? My PT says 6-12 weeks heal time, which seems right (I'll be 41 in June). But what can I expect? What should I absolutely avoid, and what can I do? What's my timeline?
Unfortunately I'm right in the middle of some labor intensive installs that I'm the only one in our small company that can actually complete. And we're so small that I cannot take time off, so completely shutting it down is not an option.
Anyone with any insight or recommendations I'm willing to listen! (I, uhhh... may not be able to follow the advice, but I'm certainly willing to listen!)
