So, where's the seat post?

Having recently ordered a Cervelo P2K, I was watching the Yahoo! Cervelo group lately, and there was a lot of discussion about customer service (or lack thereof), especially related to the carbon seat posts that were allegedly being sold with the P2K and P3. Their Web site certainly indicates this. So, last week, my frame arrives at the NSLBS (Not So Local Bike Shop), without the carbon seat post, or any seat post, for that matter. Cervelo are overnighting one, as we speak. Seems that all the 2004s are going out with aluminum seat posts at the moment. I'd rather have an aluminum one, myself, but I'm surprised at this lack of consistency and delivery. I mean, the frame comes with a headset, fork, and seat post; how hard is that?

Anyone know if the aluminum seat post is the same aero shape as the carbon one? And should the price for the frame/fork/seatpost be the same without the carbon seatpost?
