Self-supported ironman
Hey guys! I did a self-supported ironman yesterday around College Station, TX. I was able to document the whole thing while in progress with photos and audio and post it online. Check it out at http://zentri.blogspot.com

I also do a podcast about triathlon and will mix the audio into the next show in a couple of days. It'll be in mp3 format and you can download it and listen to it on your iPod or computer. Enjoy!

I was kinda hoping you were going to do this in an endless pool, on rollers then a treadmill;)

You just made me feel like a reasonable person. Congratulations!

Thanks for all the great comments, guys. I finally cobbled together all the audio so you can listen to it as I go along. You can listen to it here - http://triathlon.blankner.com/radio/ZAT_12-18-05.mp3 It's almost an hour long, so you have to approach it like it's an actual radio program. I do a bi-weekly show about triathlon, so there's audio from other people in there as well. If you're a tri-geek, you'll most likely enjoy it.

I learned a lot about how to be a triathlete from reading Dan Empfield's and others' postings on this website. Slowtwitch.com has always been a great resource to help me get to the point where I can do half and full ironman distance events. Thanks!
